After two seasons in the Eagles’ backfield, running back Jay Ajayi is reportedly meeting with the Indianapolis Colts next week.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday afternoon that Ajayi will meet with with the Colts, who are led by former Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

Ajayi missed most of the season, playing in just four games after suffering from an ACL tear.  In 11 total games with the Eagles over two season, Ajayi, who was acquired from Miami in 2017, ran for 592 yards on 105 carries and four touchdowns.

The 25-year old running back would be the second key loss in free agency for the Eagles. Linebacker Jordan Hicks signed a deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

Ajayi, a fifth-round NFL Draft pick by the Dolphins out of Boise State in 2015, served along with LeGarrette Blount during the Eagles run to the Super Bowl.
