Report: “Intensified” Talks Between Phillies and Harper
A day after former Nationals general manager Jim Bowden suggested that the Phillies and Bryce Harper are "rounding third" and "heading home" towards a deal, more chatter has enveloped the two sides. Sunday morning's noise involves a former National League East team president and one of the better-known baseball reporters.
There was also something from from Miami Marlins president
David P. Samson:
Of course, Samson has no particular source, just "rumors spreading".
