With Patrick Corbin heading to Washington to pitch for the Nationals, the Phillies look like they are turning their attention to another lefty starter.

According to Jon Morosi of MLB.com, the Phillies have spoken to the Giants about lefty, Madison Bumgarner.

Bumgarner, 29, pitched in just 21 games in 2018 after missing the first two months of the season with a fractured pinkie. He has a 3.26 ERA and 109 strikeouts over 129 2/3 innings.

According to Morosi, the Giants would want at least one top pitching prospect as part of a potential package.

He is a three time World Series champion, and the MVP of the 2014 World Series.

Bumgarner is only under contract for one more season at $12 million.
