The Philadelphia Phillies are down another bat.

The team is without Bryce Harper, Rhys Hoskins and now will be without first baseman Darick Hall, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network and the N.Y Post.

Hall left Thursday's game in the fifth inning due to a right thumb sprain while trying to slide into second base. Alec Bohm moved over from third to play first base and could be there until Hall is ready to return.

Per Heyman, the team will recall Kody Clemens from Triple-A Lehigh Valley before Friday's home opener against the Reds.

With Hall out of the lineup, the Phillies will be without their No. 4 hitter and will need to find a new first baseman for the time being.

Clemens had a solid spring for the Phillies, but did not make the team.  He has played in three games with Lehigh Valley, hitting .154 in 13 at-bats.  He played in 22 games at first base last season with Detroit and in 57 games he hit .145 with five home runs and 17 RBI.

I would expect to see Bohm play more first and Edmundo Sosa play over at third base while Hall is out.
