According to Mark Gonzales from the Chicago Tribune, the Phillies will interview former San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, and Washington Nationals manager Dusty Baker later this week.

It would be a reunion for Baker and current Phillies rightfielder Bryce Harper.  Baker servied as Harper manager while in Washington from 2016-2017, making the post-seaosn both years, but failing to win a series.

The 70-year old Baker has led three different teams to the playoffs and took the 2002 Giants to the World Series. Overall, Baker is 1,863-1,636 as a manager, but just 23-32 in the postseason.

Baker is currently serving as a special adviser to the CEO for the Giants, where he began his managerial career.
