The Phillies offseason has been pretty much a dud, but there could be one move that gets people excited, bringing back catcher J.T Realmuto.

According to MLB Network's Jon Heyman, the Phillies are trying to close the deal with Realmuto, believed to be around $110 million.

Realmuto didn't have the market he was looking for, but he could still get a pretty big deal from the Phillies, but as Heyman suggests, don't count out Atlanta. The Braves are said to like Realmuto on a shorter deal, and Realmuto does have interest in Atlanta.

Realmuto hit .266 with 11 home runs and 32 RBI in 47 games in the shortened 2020 season.  He is considered one of of the top offensive and defensive catchers in the game, but his age, 29, is a concern for a long-term deal.
