The Phillies added outfielder Kyle Schwarber on Wednesday  and might have their sights set on another bat.

According to MLB Network insider, Jon Morosi, the team has interest in another Outfield bat, Nick Castellanos, who played in Cincinnati last season and spent time with Dave Dombrowski in Detroit.

The 2021 All-Star had a huge year with the Reds in 2021, hitting .309 with 34 homers and 100 RBI in 138 games in 2021 and will be a massive addition to the middle of the Phillies lineup.

With Schwarber on board, he could hit leadoff and Castellanos could help protect N.L. MVP, Bryce Harper in the middle of the lineup.

Last season was by far Castellanos biggest season in the majors, and he is not a very good defensive player, so the trend of adding players who would be better suited to DH would continue if the Phillies were to sign the 30-year old.
