The Eagles will be without Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson on Sunday, but will be getting some speed on the field to replace Jackson according to Adam Caplan on 'The Inside the Birds' pregame show.

According to Caplan, Eagles rookie Quez Watkins will be active and make his NFL debut today in Pittsburgh, giving the Eagles some more speed at the wide receiver position.

Watkins was one of the fastest players at the NFL combine, and offers big-play ability, catching 13 passes of 20-plus yards last season at Southern Miss. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds at the NFL Combine and totaled 64 catches for 1,178 yards and six scores.

Adding him to the receiving unit gives the team more speed and could provide another weapon for Carson Wentz down-the-field.

Expect Watkins to join Travis Fulgham, J.J. Arcgea-Whiteside,Greg Ward and John Hightower this week.
