While much of the news this week centered around the injury Nick Foles suffered in the Eagles second preseason game against the Patriots, Carson Wentz still hopes to be ready to play in the teams regular season opener against the Falcons on Sept 6.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Wentz will resume 11-on-11 team drills starting tomorrow. Wentz has been given the green light after meeting with the Eagles medical staff and head coach Doug Pederson earlier today.

He suffered a torn ACL and LCL in the Eagles 2007 Week 14 game in Los Angles.
