It appears the Eagles will have tight end Zach Ertz for today's wild-card game against Seattle, according to NBC Philly's Derrick Gunn and confirmed by ESPN.

Ertz, who suffered a broken rib and lacerated kidney in Week 16, and missed the teams Week 17 game against the Giants, was medically cleared on Saturday.

Ertz hadn't been cleared for contact all week at practice, but was listed as a limited participant, and was questionable on the Eagles Friday injury report.

Having him play is a big boost for the Eagles offense, in Week 12 against the Seahawks, Ertz hauled in a season-high 12 passes for for 91 yards and a touchdown.

It had been reported on Friday by NBC Philly's John Clark that there was "optimism" Ertz would play, and now that seems to be a reality.
