Sixers 2025 Summer League Schedule: Key Dates and Rookies to Watch

With 2025 NBA Draft in the books, the next thing on the NBA calendar for the new rookies is the NBA 2K26 Summer League, giving Sixers fans a chance to see their young prospects in action for the first time before the season gets underway.

The NBA just released the schedule for the entire league, with the Sixers playing in both Salt Lake City and four games down in Las Vegas.

Salt Lake City Schedule: Early Tests for Philly's Young Core

Firs up the Summer Sixers will be in Salt Lake City for three games:

• Game 1: Sixers vs. Jazz (July 5)

• Game 2: Sixers vs. Thunder (July 7)

• Game 3: Sixers vs. Grizzlies (July 8)

The Sixers will get to see Rutgers star Ace Bailey and the Jazz, the World Champion Thunder and the Memphis Grizzles.

Las Vegas Matchups: A Spotlight on Rookie Talent

They will open the Vega Summer League on Friday, July 10, against the San Antonio Spurs, featuring the No. 2 overall pick, Dylan Harper from Rutgers.

Players to Watch: Draft Picks and Breakout Candidates

Philadelphia is set to debut two 2025 NBA Draft picks, V.J. Edgecombe from Baylor and Johni Broome from Auburn at the Las Vegas event.

Sallis entered the 2024 NBA Draft after shooting 40.5 percent from deep on 5.4 attempts per game, but decided to return to Wake Forest. In his return to to the Demon Deacons, Sallis scored 18.3 points, grabbed 5.1 rebounds, dished out 2.8 assists, and had 1.2 steals per game, but made just 27.7 percent of his three-point shots.

In addition to facing Harper, also on the schedule, the Sixers Summer League team could face Kon Knueppel (Hornets), Tre Johnson (Wizards), and the No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg (Mavericks).

The Summer League is always a good opportunity to see the Sixers young players in action for the first time.
