The Philadelphia Eagles make the playoffs and win the NFC East after beating the New York Giants by a score of 34-17. It was close as the game was tied 17-17 heading into the fourth quarter. The Eagles had players drop like flies throughout the game as they lost Miles Sanders, Brandon Brooks, and Avonte Maddox. Brandon Graham left for the locker room and eventually returned. Everyone stepped up in their place. Boston Scott had 138 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns. Carson Wentz was AWESOME and recorded 4,000 yards on the season. That's without having one receiver catch for over 500 yards individually. Doug Pederson, Jim Schwartz, and even Mike Groh deserve a ton of credit for this one. Schwartz did a great job of holding Saquon Barkley to nothing, until he had a 68-yard touchdown run to tie the game, but he was quiet for the most part. Dallas Goedert, Greg Ward, Deontay Burnett, Malcolm Jenkins, Fletcher Cox, Cre'von Leblanc, Sidney Jones, and all of the guys really played inspired football with a purpose. Now, we await to see who the Eagles will host in the first round of the playoffs!
