The Philadelphia Flyers lose 6-3 to the Edmonton Oilers. They finish their west coast road trip with an 0-2-1 record. Connor McDavid had five points and displayed his greatness. Leon Draisaitl had three points and was a key factor as well. Carter Hart on the other hand, had a tough night as he returned to his home town. He was yanked after allowing four goals on 14 shots. The Flyers actually dominated for a long time in the second period, being down one goal, and it felt as if they would eventually tie it. Once McDavid made it a two goal game, the Oilers pounded a few more in the net and it was all over. Jakub Voracek had three points and the Flyers scored some late goals that didn't mean anything. They had a total of 52 shots, but that is a flawed number. This game got embarrassing when it was 6-1 and felt like last year.
