The Philadelphia Flyers win in overtime 3-2 against the Montreal Canadiens to improve to 8-5-2 on the season! Carey Price almost stole the game for the Habs, but the Flyers never gave up. To start the scoring in the first period, Phillipe Myers put a wrister on net from the blue line that beat Price. Under one minute into the second period, James Van Riemsdyk scores a goal from the door step. Carter Hart allowed a bad rebound after the Flyers pumped Price with a bunch of great scoring chances for the Habs to cut the lead to 2-1. Shea Weber, in the third, responded with a goal off a Flyers turnover in the defensive zone to tie the game. Carsen Twarynski was rewarded a penalty shot late in the third period, but couldn't find the back of the net. In overtime, Sean Couturier squeaks one past Price to win the game.
