CSN Philadelphia hockey analyst Rick Tocchet called in to talk about the Flyers recent point streak going 5-0-1 in their last 6 games. Tocc thinks that a lot of it has to do with Craig Berube and how he has taken this team over after Peter Laviolette was fired. Berube has a different philosophy than Laviolette did, the tempo isnt as fast and a more defensive game is preached. Tocc also gives a lot of credit to Steve Mason and the way he has come in played solid goal in this streak. Follow Tocc on Twitter.

Scott Proefrock

Philadelphia Phillies Assistant GM Scott Proefrock called in to talk a little bit about the Phillies early off season moves including the Marlon Byrd and Carlos Ruiz transactions. Proefrock said the direction of this team is to compete for championships again because the last few years have been 'very disappointing.' SP also talks about the younger players of the Phillies that are finding their way into the mix as well and the Phillies want those players to contribute and are optimistic for them in doing that.
