Mike Trout and $

In this segment Mike and Todd debate the Mike Trout contract negotiations where the Angels appear to be ready to offer him a long term deal that would pay him $38 million per year at one point. Todd believes for security and safety reasons alone Trout should consider signing the deal and become a free agent at 28 to get another mega contract. Mike Gill thinks he should hit arbitration and look to hit free agency a little earlier and perhaps come back east to where his family is.

Jeff McLane

Fresh from the combine Jeff McLane called in to talk about what he saw there and what the Eagles could be looking to do in the draft and in free agency. He wrote about Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper who are both set to hit the open market and called Maclin the real 'priority' with a 1-year deal possible. McLane also doesn't rule out a return of Mike Vick who could land with the Jets and if he doesn't the Eagles could be back in the cards. Free agent safeties are also analyzed here as well. Follow McLane on Twitter.

Johnny Football to Birds?

The Eagles reportedly met with Johnny Manziel at the combine in Indianapolis this weekend. With the Eagles new approach in the draft of 'best man on the board,' Mike Gill looks at the possibility of drafting Manziel in the first round and what that would mean for Nick Foles. Gill isn't necessarily a fan of Manziel, but could pass up on him if he fell to a good draft position for them. Manziel also met with the Jaguars, Cowboys and Bucs.

Scott Wright

Another guest fresh from the NFL Combine is Scott Wright, Draft Countdown. Wright talked about the quarterbacks who some chose not to throw or run in Indianapolis. Also on Jadeveon Clowney and how he did in his drills. The wide receivers at the combine are probably the deepest in this draft with Mike Evans and Sammy Watkins first round picks. Michael Sam as well, what did he do for his draft stock this week?
