PHILADELPHIA (973espn.com) - Veteran running back Darren Sproles and rookie right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai have been ruled out for the Eagles’ Week 15 game against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.

Sproles is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol and hasn’t been cleared by an independent neurologist after taking a vicious hit from Washington defensive back Deshazor Everett last Sunday.

With Sproles out and Wendell Smallwood now on injured reserve after suffering a sprained knee against the Redskins, Philadelphia’s running backs corps against Baltimore’s top-ranked run defense will be Ryan Mathews, Kenjon Barner, and the recently promoted Byron Marshall.

Meanwhile, right tackle Allen Barbre is questionable due to a hamstring injury suffered last Sunday and hasn’t practiced all week. If the veteran is unable to go, rookie Isaac Seumalo will be the fourth player used at the position since Lane Johnson was suspended.

Johnson is scheduled to return after this game and will be available for the Week 16 contest against the New York Giants on Thursday, Dec. 22.
