Sixers general manager Elton Brand met with the media on a zoom call today, one day after firing head coach Brett Brown.

On Sunday, after the Sixers were swept by the Celtics, Josh Richardson voiced his frustration with the teams lack of accountability.

Joel Embiid was the only reason why the 76ers had a chance considering the squad shot under 30% from the field. Late though, he had a crucial turnover late and was rejected by Jayson Tatum in the final moments. The team shot 23% from three. Tobias Harris has yet to make a three-pointer this series and Al Horford was terrible! This team stinks.

The Sixers have become exactly what they fought so hard not to be, a team stuck in the middle, with no way out, trapped under bad contracts, poor front office decisions and awful roster construction. All of these things have led the Sixers right back down the path of mediocrity.

The Sixers found themselves in a must-win situation against the Celtics on Friday night, looking to avoid going down 3-0 to the Celtics. Despite a hard-fought effort from the Sixers in game three they fell just short and lost to the Celtics by a final score of 102-94...

Tobias Harris shot 4-15 from the floor. The 76ers were out-rebounded. Yup. You ready that correctly. It looked like they waived the white flag.
