Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins has suffered a torn ACL and will require surgery, likely ending his 2023 season.

Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins suffered a knee injury in Clearwater on Thursday, and had to be carted off of the field.

According to a report from the Montreal Journal, Flyers forward Sean Couturier re-injured his MCL in an offseason game while making a routine movement.

The Sixers guard 21 games with shin splints last season. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

The Sixers center's availability for Thursday night's game is still to be determined. The next status update will be on Wednesday.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Joel Embiid underwent successful surgery on Saturday, and could possibly return to the Sixers in two weeks.

The Sixers' rookie point guard inched closer to a return from a shoulder injury.
