This week's Phillies mailbag looks at the 2021 MLB Draft, the defense of Didi Gregorius, and the state of the organizational holes

In his 2021 debut, the right-hander tossed a complete game with 13 strikeouts, giving up just two hits, two runs while touching triple-digits on the radar gun with regularity.

To close out the 2020 MLB Draft, the Phillies added some power to the organization with their fifth-round selection, Georgia Tech outfielder Baron Radcliff. who stands 6 foot 4 and weighs 228 pounds.

The Phillies have gone to the college ranks once again in the 2020 MLB Draft, selecting University of South Floridia standout, right-handed pitcher Carson Ragsdale with the 116th pick in the fourth-round.

Some MLB Draft experts thought Casey Martin was a top 40 player in this years draft class.

Pitcher Jayson Hoopes, a Northfield resident has already committed to the University of Virginia, and has been outstanding this season with a record of 6-0, with 58 strikeouts and a 1.53 ERA.

Ocean City High School graduate Sean Mooney was drafted today by the Minnesota Twins in the 12th round of the Major League Baseball Draft.

Former Holy Spirit baseball star Robert Boselli, a Ventnor native was taken by the Reds in the MLB Draft.

The Los Angles Angels have drafted another South Jersey high school player.

The Phillies used their third overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft to select third baseman Alec Bohm.
