It seems all St. Joe's Academy head football coach Paul Sacco does is win.

This week we have another big one as the St. Joe's Academy Wildcats (0-1) hit the road and take on the Pleasantville Greyhounds (1-0) at 7pm.

Holy Spirit knocked off St. Joe's in the Non-Public Group 2 Finals last season at Rutgers, 38-0.

According to social media account @StJoeGottaBelieve the new St. Joseph Academy will have registrations for the fall, starting Wednesday July 1st from 6-8pm.

Back in April the Diocese of Camden announced that five local schools including Wildwood Catholic and St. Joe's of Hammonton high schools would be closing their doors.

Both St. Joseph High School and St. Joseph Regional Elementary School! in Hammonton are asking for help via a new GoFundMe page to help privatize the two schools.

The St. Joe's community came out in droves on Sunday afternoon to help support the school, after it was announced on Friday that the Diocese of Camden would be closing the school.

During Wednesday nights CAL semi-final game between St. Joe's and Wildwood Catholic, I witnessed a play that I have never seen happen in all my years calling basketball games.

Now, the defending champion Crusaders get a chance to pick up their third straight CAL title if they can get past St. Augustine Prep on Saturday.

The CAL boys' playoffs are down to the Final Four, with the No. 1 seeded Wildwood Catholic Crusaders (18-7) trying to advance to the championship game by knocking off the fifth seeded St. Joe's Wildcats (20-4) at Absegami high school.
