During Wednesday nights CAL semi-final game between St. Joe's and Wildwood Catholic, I witnessed a play that I have never seen happen in all my years calling basketball games.

With just under a minute left in the half, Wildwood Catholic had the ball and sent an entry pass into the post to West Virginia commit Taj Thweatt.  Thweatt went up to try and lat the ball in and was greeted by St. Joe's defender Keshon Griffin who blocked his shot.

Problem was he blocked it with such authority that the ball powered off the court, up in the air and back through the hoop, for two Crusader points.

Wildwood Catholic went on to win the game and advanced to the CAL Finals this Saturday at Stockton University.
