The Sixers seeding games are officially in the books after Friday's game against the Rockets. They finish their seeding games with a record of 4-4 after beating the Rockets 134-96. Here are some takeaways from the "regular season" finale.

Tobias Harris looks playoff ready

With it being unlikely we see Ben Simmons in the playoffs the Sixers are going to need to find players to up their game in the bright lights of the postseason, and Tobias Harris looks ready to aid Joel Embiid leading the charge for the Sixers. In these final two games, Harris has played great and looks ready and locked in for postseason to begin.

Harris was the leading scorer for the Sixers against the Rockets, scoring 18 points on 6-10 shooting in his 23 minutes of action. He also grabbed seven rebounds and dished four assists to go with his scoring.

Tobias' ability to score the ball in multiple ways has been showcased lately and he looks confident as a scorer. Seeing the way he has scored in recent games is a great sign as it will be needed in the next stage in full force.

Alec Burks is the Sixers secret weapon

It did not look like a huge move at the deadline, but the Sixers picking up Alec Burks for pennies on the dollar has looked like a steal for the Sixers. He came alive in the bubble and has established himself as a major piece for the Sixers off the bench.

After the game head coach Brett Brown had high praise for Burks and the way he has played in the bubble. He would go on to compare him to former Sixer Lou Williams. Burks' ability to create his own offense and work off the dribble has added another weapon to the Sixers' offense and having a microwave scorer like him off the bench makes the Sixers look much deeper.

Ending on a high note

Even though this game did not mean much, it was good to walk away with the win. Ending the regular season with high spirits and a convincing win under your belt is always good. Having a good all-around game in the finale is great because it also gives you a good base to build momentum on.

The Sixers needed a good win in this one as they get ready to face off against the Boston Celtics in the playoffs. Hopefully, they can build on the strong play they had against the Rockets on Monday when they play game one.
