"Time flies when you're having fun!"  If you Love what you do, you’ll never work a hard day in your life.  I can testify that these sayings are so true.  Where has the time gone? I start my 10th year broadcasting The Locker Room with Billy Schweim on 97.3 FM ESPN radio South Jersey on Saturday.

Over the ten years that I’ve been on the air, we’ve had plenty of big-time guests and have seen some ups and downs with our sports teams.  Two Super Bowl wins by the Eagles in 2018 and 2025, the Phillies with three playoff appearances, and winning their division.  The Flyers are mired in mediocrity, and the Sixers, who prior to this year were one of the top teams in the NBA.  Plus, the Villanova Wildcats run with Head Coach Jay Wright and winning the National Championship in 2016 and 2018.

I couldn’t do it by myself; I want to thank everyone who’s been a part of my show's success, especially Josh Hennig, Mike Gill, Mike Ruble, Nick Earnshaw, Danny Ryan, Andrew Leeds, Dave Klemic, Bob Schweim, P.J. Corda, Mike Carlin, and the Sports Book Consigliere Dave Sharapan.

Plus, former Co-hosts Scott McKay, Bill Beverly, John McShane, Hunter Brody, and the P.T.  Most importantly, I want to recognise and thank my advertisers! Without them, none of this would be possible: Mark Grimes, Joe Lenegan, Tom Jackson, John McCann, The Randazzo’s, Dave and Joan Newman, Johnny DeMaria, Ron Conklin, Circle Liquor, Ken Dunek, LaScala’s Beach House, Philly Pretzel Factory of EHT, Lou Cappelli, Pat Carr, Bulldogs Sports Bar, Jack Brooks, Toms River Auto Group, and Tom McMiniman.

I appreciate everyone who has participated on my show.  To my listeners: Thank you !!! This Saturday, we will look back at some of the great times we’ve had over the last Ten Years!!

The Phillies continue their road trip after sweeping the Rays in Tampa.  In their last three games, the Phillies offense has come alive.  They have scored 22 runs, 33 hits and hit five Home Runs, scoring seven runs in each game.  Let’s hope they can keep the bats hot as they head to Cleveland for a three game series this weekend. We will cover it all this weekend in The Locker Room.

On Saturday’s Show, Producer Nick Earnshaw and former Kansas City Chiefs Wide receiver Dave Klemic will join me in the studio to help me celebrate the last ten years.  We will hear from Mr, Negadelphia P.J. Corda brought to you by the Galloway Pool Service.  Mr. Negadelphia will opine on our Philly Sports teams.  At 11:30 am we will talk with Head Coach of the Royal Revolution Cheer team Michell Peterson. Cheer is a big sport, and Coach Peterson’s team just won the National Cheer competition in Orlando, Florida last weekend.  My daughter is on the team, and we will find out what makes cheer such a big sport.

On Sunday’s show, Producer Danny Ryan joins me in the studio.  We will recap the weekend in Philly Sports.  Every Sunday, we go “On the Mound” with former Phillies Pitcher Tommy Greene brought to you by Blitz's Market of Ocean City.  Tommy gives us his thoughts on the Phillies and previews Sunday’s game.  In Hour Two, we get our “High School Athletes in the Spotlight” with Fran Mclaughlin brought to you by the Philly Pretzel Factory of EHT.

All that and more this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim, every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to Noon on 97.3 FM ESPN Radio South Jersey.
