The 2021-2022 high school basketball season tips-off tonight with a lot of new faces to keep an eye on this season.

Four of the top five scores have graduated, meaning there will be a lot of new names to get familiar with this season.

Here are 12 names to watch this seson on the boys' side of things.

1. Carlos Lopez, Egg Harbor Twp. | He is the top returning scorer in the Cape-Atlantic League, scoring 23.0 points per game and made a league high 40 3-point shots last season for the Silver Eagles.

2. Jamil Smith, Holy Spirit | He is one of four Holy Spirit juniors that return to the floor this season, but he led the way for the Spartans, scoring 18.4 points per game as a sophomore.

3. Elijah Brown, St. Augustine Prep | The 6-3 sophomore came off the bench as a freshman, but raised eyes with his ability to get to the rim last season, he should be one of the more dynamic scores in the CAL this season.

4. Yamere Diggs, Vineland | Diggs is just 5-7 but he is one of the top returning scorers in the CAL, averaging 14.7 points last season, which was 10th best.

5. John Andoloro, Hammonton | The 6-5, Andoloro, averaged 13.5 points last season for the Blue Devils, who went 8-7 last year.  He was the 12th best scorer in the Cape-Atlantic League last season.

6. Archie Lawler, Lower Cape May | As a sophomore, Lawler averaged 16 points last season for the Caper Tigers and is the fourth highest scorer among returning players.

7. D.J. Germann, Egg Harbor Twp. | Germann and Lopez are one of the top duos in the Cape-Atlantic League. Germann scored 15 points and handed out 4.1 assists per game as a sophomore.

8. Ja'son Prevard, St. Joseph's Academy | The Wildcats will be leaning on Prevard this season after losing Marcus Pierce, Dom Thomas, Jordan Stafford to graduation. They also added some key transfers to their roster.

9. Jamal Wilkins, Holy Spirit | Wilkins is another member of the Spartans talented junior class who returns this season.. He averaged 13 points last season, good for 16th best in the CAL.

10. Dylan Delvecchio, Cape May Tech | Delvecchio was the eighth leading score in the CAL last season and averaged 17 points and seven rebounds last season for the Hawks.

11. Arnaldo Rodriguez, St. Joseph's Academy |  Is one of the top shooters returning this season, making 14 of his 3-point shots in limited action.  With a lot of players lost to graduation, expect Rodriguez's scoring to go up this season.

12 Sean Snyder, Cedar Creek | Snyder averaged 12.3 points and made 27 3-pointers last season for the Pirates, who have three starters back this season.
