Current Sixers head coach Doc Rivers was named one of the 15 greatest NBA coaches off all-time on Tuesday night.

"Its absolutely a huge honor," Rivers said after the Sixers loss.

Rivers has been the head coach of four NBA teams, Orlando, Boston, the LA Clippers and now the Sixers. He won a NBA title with the Celtics in 2008 and was the NBA coach of the year in 2000.

The list was selected by a panel of 43 current and former NBA coaches as part of a celebration of the league's 75th Anniversary season.

Rivers entered Tuesday's game against Phoenix with a 1024-725 record.

He acknowledged some of the teams he coached in the past, and many of his former coaches and his current staff

He is one of two Sixers coaches to make the Top 15 list, with Larry Brown also being recognized.

Brown is the last coach to take the Sixers to the NBA Finals in 2001, walking the sidelines from 1997-2003 with a record of 225-205 in his six years in Philadelphia.

Overall Brown is 1327-1011 betwen his time in the NBA and ABA with one NBA title with the Detroit Pistons in 2004.
