After a two-week split-road trip and returning home following a loss in Calgary, the Wings were able to find their footing again. In the second match of their back-to-back matchup against Calgary, the Wings emerged victorious.

On a Marvel-themed afternoon, it was easy to be entertained by all the attractions, including the meet-and-greet with characters, a petting zoo, some magic bubbles, and more. The real heroes of the afternoon were the Philadelphia Wings.

The Wings scored first in the game, but Calgary quickly responded. Calgary enhanced their lead by three goals by the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Sam LeClair recorded a hat trick, along with goals from Jones, Cattoni, and McIntosh to narrow the gap to one by halftime.

Despite not scoring during the third quarter, the Wings saw the Roughnecks add two more goals to widen the lead to three. In the fourth quarter, the Wings' starting goalie, Higgins, shut out Calgary. With a fourth-quarter shutout and goals scored by Resetarits, Dominey, Jones, and Tutton, the Wings rallied for their first home win of the season.
