Tyler Donohue has covered athletics on both coasts of the United States but has a soft spot in his heart for South Jersey sports. He grew up in Cape May County and competed in the Cape-Atlantic League as a high school athlete. As an undergraduate at Rutgers University, Tyler served as a member of the Scarlet Knights football recruiting staff for three bowl-winning seasons (2006-2008). He then switched over to the press box, reporting on Big East Conference athletics as a writer and radio commentator. Following graduation from Rutgers, Tyler drove across the country to Southern California, where he covered a wide variety of sports. But when the homeland came calling, he returned to the shores of South Jersey and has covered athletics here since 2011.
