The Eagles beat the Redskins in their season opener by a score of 32-27. The first half was extremely sloppy and there was definitely rust involved. The Redskins had 248 total yards in the first half alone. The team looked focused in the second half. Carson Wentz and the offense took control of the game and Doug Pederson had better play calls. Desean Jackson was the main story as he returned to Philly scoring two touchdowns and caught eight receptions for a total of 154 yards. Carson threw three touchdowns and over 300 yards. Darren Sproles was used more than I expected. The birds completely dominated once they got their feet wet!
