2026 Sea Isle City Restaurant Weekend full restaurant lineup revealed

The summer season in South Jersey is finally here, and not just because the weather is finally warm enough to break out the shorts and beach gear. Over the decades, Memorial Day Weekend has been the unofficial start of summertime at the Jersey Shore.

But this year, Memorial Day Weekend featured miserable weather in South Jersey, with the rain keeping people away from the Shore Towns they love to visit each summer.

This past weekend, I was at the ShopRite LPGA Tournament, where we had no rain all weekend, which opened the door for an exciting Final Round.  Yet only Sunday had beautiful weather, while Saturday featured wind gusts up to 25 MPH.

The first weekend of June looks like a great opportunity to visit the Jersey Shore, and one South Jersey Coastal Community has 26 restaurants participating in an island-wide event for visitors of all ages.

Details about 2026 Sea Isle City Restaurant Weekend

There are 26 restaurants participating in this showcase of the best food destinations on the island located off Garden State Parkway Exit 17. Sea Isle City has been one of the best and most diverse culinary towns in South Jersey for decades.

I spoke with Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce President Brian Heritage about how this exciting weekend got started:

"Sea Isle (City is) a cool little town with a great abundance of restaurants that not a lot of people know about. Probably, I'd say, out of South Jersey, it's one of our best-kept secrets. We've got some really talented chefs here, and we decided to talk to all the chefs and see if they would come together and...feature their specials."

From Friday, June 5th through Sunday, June 6th, participating Sea Isle City restaurants will offer customers the opportunity to try their best food offerings. Plus, customers can participate in the Foodie Photo Contest:

Diners are encouraged to snap pictures of their food, then post on social media, tagging the restaurant and the SIC Chamber of Commerce accounts for the chance to win either a $100 Gift Card (First Place), or a $50 Gift Card (2nd and 3rd place) to the restaurant they took the photo at in Sea Isle City.

SIC COC President Brian Heritage emphasized that this is a family-friendly weekend with something for everyone to enjoy in Sea Isle City:

"This is a family-friendly thing with restaurant weekend. This is not just for adults like (Sea Isle City's) Girl's weekend. - Anybody can go to the restaurants, and anybody can join in on enjoying these great specials from June 5th to the 7th. There is something for everyone, including the kids; If you want to just go get them a pizza, and then you go out and do the fine dining."
