With the Sixers in danger of matching their own NBA record for worst win-loss record in league history, the question still remains is the team on the right track to build a contender sooner than later? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel for 76ers fans?

Mike Gill asked this question to ESPN NBA Analyst Chris Broussard on Wednesday and Broussard said:

"This is a team that has the pieces in place to get good quickly. And those pieces, you get one of these top three draft picks Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram, and Kris Dunn. Thats one piece getting one of those top three draft picks. Number two Joel Embiid, can he be healthy and play? Okay that can help you a lot. Number three Jerry Colangelo; now that he is in the organization and pretty much running the show they are now a Free Agent, I wouldn't say destination in that everyone wants to go to Philly but they are a place that now free agents will consider seriously."

Broussard went on to elaborate on Colangelo's impact on Sixers franchise:

"Before Colangelo gets there they would've had to overpay tremendously to get any free agents of note. Okay now thats not the case, Colangelo has restored their reputation and they may be able to get a good free agent or two to come there to Philly."

Checkout what Broussard had to say about LeBron James, if Cavaliers will be the team to represent the Eastern Conference in NBA Finals and his thoughts about Warriors vs Spurs.
