Cedar Creek’s Ahmir Mitchell Offered a Scholarship to Ole Miss, Others

With the start of the high school football this weekend for a couple of area teams, one of the area's top players, Ahmir Mitchell of Cedar Creek High school is already gaining interest from some of the top programs in the country.

Mitchell, a junior, tweeted that he has received an offer from Ole Miss of the SEC.

He wouldn't be the first Mitchell to call the SEC home if he ended up at Ole Miss. Mitchell's brother, Damon is a redshirt freshman currently playing wide receiver at Arkansas.

Cedar Creek is one of the favorites in the Cape Atlantic National Conference and should be one of the top teams in South Jersey group II this season.
