Former Cedar Creek quarterback Damon Mitchell is coming home.

The former Pirates star will play his final season in North Jersey as a graduate transfer, after three season in Arkansas. Mitchell will join his brother Amir, who transferred from Michigan, and incoming freshman Bo Melton and Owen Bowles to give the Scarlet Knights four former Pirates.

He was recruited by current Rutgers head coach Chris Ash back in 2012 when as served as a position coach with Wisconsin and Arkansas.

Since he is a graduate transfer, Mitchell will be able to play right away and should see plenty of time all over the field next year, for a Rutgers team that needs to add some offensive firepower.
