Funny story: Someone in our office suggested that we do Cheryl for crush today, and I googled Paula Cole. It was a confusing couple of minutes for all of us, but we've reached some clarity: This woman did not sing the 'Dawson's Creek' theme song.

That makes WAY more sense.

Cheryl is a 29-year-old British singer-songwriter, dancer and model who first came on the scene in 2002, when she became a member of the all-girl group 'Girls Aloud,' after auditioning for 'Popstars: The Rivals,' on British TV.

She released six platinum albums, 20 top-ten singles, four number one singles, and earned five BRIT Award nominations with the group, before they disbanded in 2009, marking the beginning of her solo career.

Her most third and most recent solo album, 'A Million Lights' was released last June, and the single 'Call My Name" became her third number one single.

In her modeling career, she's been featured on the covers of British Vogue, Elle, and Harpers Bazaar. She was also a host on Britain's 'The X Factor' from 2008-2011, when she transferred over to the American version, and was promptly sacked.

She was married to British football player Ashley Cole until 2010. So you're saying there's a chance?
