The Phillies are scheduled to meet with three veteran managers this week to replace Gabe Kapler for their managerial position.

The three names are currently the top three betting favorites to be hired for the job according to sports betting site SportsBetting.ag, which has odds on who will be named the Phillies next skipper.

At the top of the list is Buck Showalter, followed by Joe Girardi and Dusty Baker.

An interesting name that appears on the list?  How about Astros bench coach Joe Espada, who Wall Street Journal National MLB writer Jared Diamond brought up on Tuesday's edition of The Sports Bash.

"I'd be surprised if Espada doesn't get one of these managerial openings," Dimond said. "He'd be a great candidate for whoever hires him."

A couple of other names of note on the list are former Phillie Raul ibanez, their former manager Charlie Manuel, former Angels manager Mike Scioscia and two members of the 1993 team, Cur Schilling and Lenny Dykstra, both who have shown interest in the position.
