A quick look at the Eagles Super Bowl LVII loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Eagles' best number:  4 (Jalen Hurts' total touchdowns)

Eagles' worst number: 0 (Sacks by Eagles defense)

View from my living room:
Actually, my view was from the bar at Marriott Lakeshore Reserve in Orlando, Florida. My wife, Karen, proudly donned her No. 9 Rodney Peete Eagles jersey that she's had since 1996 and happily shouted "Go Birds" to fellow Eagles fans while also calling me a "hater" for picking the Chiefs. I downed a Mai Tai, otherwise known as "Hater Ade."

Three stars
1. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (Super Bowl MVP after throwing 3 TD passes)
2. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (3 rushing TDs, 1 passing TD)
3. Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (76 rushing yard on 15 carries, 1 TD)

Eagles' best play
Hurts threw a great pass and wide receiver A.J. Brown made a great catch on a 45-yard touchdown that gave the Eagles a 14-7 lead in the first quarter.

Eagles' worst play
The Eagles' inconsistent special teams picked the worst possible moment to fall apart. Chiefs punt returner Kadarius Toney reversed direction and reeled off a Super Bowl-record 65-yard punt return in the fourth quarter that ultimately led to the Chiefs taking a 35-27 lead.

Turning point
A questionable defensive holding call on Eagles cornerback James Bradberry late in the game gave the Chiefs a first down and enabled them to run down the clock to set up place-kicker Harrison Butker's game-winning, 27-yard field goal.

Did you notice?

Pacheco, a Vineland High School graduate, became the first local player from Atlantic, Cape May or Cumberland Counties to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl. ... Pacheco averaged 5.1 yards per carry. ... Eagles wide receiver Devonta Smith had 7 catches for 100 yards, joining Terrell Owens (122 yards) and Corey Clement (100) as the only Eagles with 100 or more yards in a Super Bowl.
