Back in November, vendors at The Exchange in Linwood were told the place would be closing their doors for good early in 2023.

One of the restaurants that called The Exchange home, is moving to a new location in Northfield.

Last week Heather DeLuca noticed that something was going on at the former site of Friendly's in Northfield.

On Saturday, the owners of Lil Saigon announced on social media they will be moving to the old Friendly's space at 1003 Tilton Rd in Northfield. Their final day at The Exchange will be on Saturday, March 25.

The Friendly's has been closed since 2019.

According to their social media post, the will be closing on Sunday's moving forward.

The new location will feature a full dining experience and be a BYOB starting in the Spring of 2023.

Lil Saigon is the only restaurant that remains from the original vendors involved in The Exchange 2017 opening. It was reported earlier that Bakeria 1010 owner Mike Fitzick, plans to take over Spuntino, a  Northern Liberties, Philadelphia neighborhood pizzeria. Some of the original spots that called The Exchange home include: The District Bar, Earnest Pub, Banzo, Jar'd, and the second location of Tony's Baltimore Grill.

The Exchange seemed like a good idea, that was just never executed properly.  We hope that Lil Saigon does well at its new location.
