PJ’s Coffee Linwood Closing as Somers Cafe Moves In

There will be one less spot on your morning commute to grab a cup of coffee in the area, but there will be a new place for a great breakfast.

PJ's Coffee Announces Closure in Linwood

PJ's Coffee in Linwood announced on social media that they will be closing, but that Somers Cafe will be taking over the space at Cornerstone Commerce Center, 1201 New Road, across from Mainland High School.

It is with bittersweet emotion that Jean and I announce the closure of PJs Coffee Linwood. Thank you for the wonderful support. More importantly, thank you for your friendship. I’m excited to announce Somers Cafe will take over the space. We wish Ivana and her team much success! Those of you who know Somers Cafe know this is a very good thing. Thank you.

Somers Cafe Set to Take Over New Road Location

We told you earlier this week that Dead End Bakehouse would be moving into the spot Somers Cafe used to occupy, 746 Shore Road.

Per a post on social media from PJ's Coffee, Somers Cafe is up and running.

That location, so I am excited to hear they have found a new home. They had a very small location, so it's good to see they will have a much bigger space in Linwood.

At the same time, I went to PJ's a few times and enjoyed their coffee, and I am sad to see they are leaving the area.

PJ's opened back in 2023 as one of the nation's largest Coffee chains, but is leaving after just over two years in Linwood.
