
Report: Eagles Set to Add Former Patriots WR Javon Baker to Practice Squad
The Philadelphia Eagles continued to add to the edges of their roster ahead of the 2025 season opening game against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night, adding former Alabama and UCF wide receiver Javon Baker to their practice squad.

He will join the Eagles' practice squad and a wide receiver room that is extremely talented at the top end, with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and deeper with players like Jahan Dotson, John Metchie III, and Darius Cooper, on the final 53-man roster.
The Eagles have two other wideouts on their practice squad, Elijah Cooks and Terrace Marshall.

And according to reports, they will be adding running back Audric Estime, cornerback Ambry Thomas, and Baker. According to Jordan Schultz, there has been no official announcement, but they are just doing some "roster management" to make it all work.
To add these three guys, one player will have to be let go.
