The Philadelphia Eagles have added a low-risk pass rusher to the roster, adding former New York Giants second-round pick,  Azeez Ojulari, with a one-year, $4 million deal on Monday according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Ojulari has one thing in common with many Eagles defensive players - he is a University of Georgia alum, joining Nolan Smith, Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Kalee Ringo, Jordan Davis, and Lewis Cine as former Bulldogs.

He spent his first four seasons in New York, notching 22 sacks over 46 games with the Giants, including six sacks in 11 games last season and eight in his rookie season.

The issue for Ojulari has been availability, missing 22 games, playing 17 games just one time.

What Ojulari adds to the Eagles

Ojulari will join Jaylx Hunt, Bryce Huff and free agent addition Joshua Uche in trying to replace Josh Sweat, who signed with Arizona Cardinals in free agency and Brandon Graham, who is expected to retire.

He was one of the Giants top pass rushers, and if healthy, could end up bring a steal for Vic Fangio's defense.

At just 24, if he plays well in 2025,  he could set himself up to land a big payday in free agency in 2026, just like Sweat, who got a four-year, $76.4 million contract which $41 million guaranteed.

Sweat had 43 sacks in seven seasons, playing in 104 games in Philadelphia.
