NFL teams must cut their rosters down to 53 by tomorrow at 4pm, and about 700 total players will be out of work, today have already told a couple players their tenure as an Eagle is over.

The team has released quarterback G.J. Kinne, offensive lineman Josh Andrews, running back Henry Josey, wide receivers Ifeanyi Momah and Arrelious Benn (IR with back injury), Quron Pratt on Friday.

Also according to some reports, the Eagles are reportedly trying to trade wideout Damaris Johnson, if they can't trade him, he will likely be cut by the team.  Johnson did have a productive preseason, catching nine balls for 90 yards with a TD, and also rushing 12 times for 83 yards with an additional score - but it doesn't seem like enough for him to stick.

UPDATE 4/30 12:30 -

Eagles released defensive backs Roc Carmichael and Curtis Marsh.

This signals the end of the Marsh era in Philadelphia, the Eagles are moving on from the 2011 third-rounder, who never made an impact and struggled big time during the preseason.  Carmichael was forced into two starts for the Eagles last season after getting scooped off the Texans' practice squad, but did not have a good camp or preseason.
