Filling the Void: Ryan Mahaffey Steps In for Jeff Stoutland

He will replace Stoutland in the role of run game coordinator. Stoutland was the longest-tenured and one of the most beloved assistants on the staff.

A Versatile Coaching Resume

Mahaffey has a diverse coaching background, serving as a wide receivers coach, assistant offensive line coach, tight ends coach, and an offensive coordinator at the college level at Northern Iowa, among other coaching roles.

"An impressive addition," Ian Rapoport from the NFL Network posted on social media.

He replaces a very popular coach in Stoutland and his Stoutland University, who spent 13 years in Philadelphia, as new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion begins to assemble his coaching staff.

The Eagles still haven't hired an offensive line coach to replace Stouland in that capacity.
