According to Mike Kaye of NJ.com, Riley is signing with the Miami Dolphins on a one-year deal.

Riley had his best season as a pro in 2020, making eight starts for the Eagles last year, posting 55 tackles, an interception, and two Tackles for loss.

His best game in 2020 came against the Pittsburgh Steelers where he made 12 tackles, one for a loss, with a forced fumble.

He entered the NFL in 2017 as a third-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles acquired Riley before the 2020 season with a 2020 sixth-round pick from the Falcons in exchange for safety Johnathan Cyprien and a 2020 seventh-round pick.

He appeared in 57 NFL games combined between Philadelphia and Atlanta, where he recorded 132 total tackles.

Ahead of the 2021 season, the Eagles are very thin at the linebacker position with Alex Singleton, T.J. Edwards Davion Taylor and Shaun Bradley the incumbents.

Ironically, Riley will replace former Eagles linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill for the Dolphins.
