Eagles Bring in Veteran Corner Mike Hilton for Workout After Cowboys Game
With Philadelphia Eagles veteran cornerback Adoree Jackson struggling on Thursday night in the team's win over the Dallas Cowboys, the team is bringing a veteran corner in for a workout on Monday. Jackson gave up five catches for 105 yards on seven targets in the game on Thursday night.
How Hilton Could Fit in the Eagles Secondary
Why the Eagles Are Bringing in Mike Hilton
With Hilton playing a lot of slot corner, the team could potentially move Cooper DeJean to the outside opposite Quinton Mitchell, or he could be here to add some more competition to the cornerback room.
The team also has young corner Kelee Ringo and Eli Ricks, but neither played a role in Thursday's game against Dallas.
Jakorian Bennett’s Early Season Contribution
The Eagles traded for Jakorian Bennett before the season, and he could be an option on the outside as well. He gave up three catches on three targets for 20 yards on Thursday night against Dallas.
Hilton’s Career Track and Recent Stops
Hilton had a solid season with the Bengals last season, playing in all 16 games, totaling 73 tackles and one interception, breaking up five passes.
He spent training camp in Miami with the Dolphins, but did not make the team's final 53-man roster after starting 23 games during the 2023 and 2024 seasons for Cincinnati and spent four seasons with the Bengals and four seasons in Pittsburgh before that.
As always, Howie Roseman is turning over every stone to try and improve the Eagles roster to make another Super Bowl run this season.
