The Philadelphia Eagles announced they have activated defnesive tackle Mike Patterson from the reserve/non-football illness list. To make room on the 53-man roster, the team released LB Jason Williams.

Patterson is now eligible to play in Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints. He was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list on August 27 while recovering from offseason surgery to repair a congenital tangle of blood vessels in his brain.

Patterson returned to practice on Monday October 23 for the first time since his brain surgery.
