The 2025 NFL season has been a rollercoaster ride for the Philadelphia Eagles. But they have endured all of the injuries, and issues with the offense to win the NFC East for the second straight season.

The Eagles defense has been the dominant force for Philadelphia's success this season. With the third-best scoring defense (19.3 Points per Game Against) along with the fewest Passing Touchdowns Allowed (13), and fourth-most Quarterback Hits/Knockdowns (55), some have called the 2025 Philadelphia Eagles a Championship-caliber defense.

This season features the fewest number of Eagles players selected to the Pro Bowl since 2020, when Philadelphia had just Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham receive the honor.

Two Eagles First-Time Pro Bowl Selections on the list

Voted upon by NFL fans, players, and coaches resulted in five Eagles players being selected to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games.

For the second straight year, Defensive Tackle Jalen Carter, Linebacker Zack Baun, and Center Cam Jurgens were voted to the Pro Bowl. Carter has missed five games due to injuries this season, but was one of the top vote-getters among NFC Defensive Linemen.

Philadelphia's two first-time Pro Bowl selections are Cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and Defensive Back Cooper DeJean. Proving their rookie seasons were not a fluke, the two young Eagles defensive stars have proven they are among the best in the NFL at their positions in 2025.

The Eagles have five players listed as Pro Bowl Alternates. These players will have the opportunity to participate in the Pro Bowl games if Philadelphia does not return to the Super Bowl and if players at their respective position groups opt-out of the 20026 Pro Bowl Games:

*2nd Alternate
Outside Linebacker Jaelan Phillips
*3rd Alternate
Running Back Saquon Barkley
Tight End Dallas Goedert
*4th Alternate
Special Teams Kelee Ringo
*5th Alternate
Quarterback Jalen Hurts

The one player whose name is a glaring omission is Defensive Tackle Jordan Davis. The soon-to-be 26 year old has played the second-most defensive snaps of any D-Lineman on Philadelphia this season, and has the most Tackles for Loss (9) on the Eagles. Also, his 4.5 Sacks are the seventh-most by Defensive Tackles in the NFL this season.

Davis' teammates were surprised that he was not one of the Pro Bowl selections. Even if the NFL chooses him as a late addition to replace another player on the NFC Pro Bowl roster, he does not get any retroactive bonus. So, hopefully, the Eagles take care of Davis for having a career season in his fourth year in Philadelphia.
