According to veteran Eagles reporter Derrick Gunn, Brown was sent home from Green Bay for conduct detrimental to the team. Per Gunn both Howie Roseman and Doug Pederson spoke to Brown and made the decision to cut him.

Brown appeared in two games for the team, starting one.

He was a former third-round draft choice, who has bounced around the league with the Eagles being his fourth team since entering the league in 2015.
