Eagles Sign Veteran OL Kendall Lamm to 1-year deal
The Philadelphia Eagles signed veteran offensive lineman Kendall Lamm, 32, to a one-year contract on Monday evening.
The money behind the deal was not disclosed.
The 10-year NFL veteran spent the past three NFL seasons with the Miami Dolphins, starting 16 games. In addition to his time in Miami, he has spent time with the Texans, Browns, and Titans, playing both tackle positions, appearing in 119 games, starting 44. Last season, he started seven games for Miami before his season ended due to a back injury that put him on the injured reserve in January.

He entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2015 out of Appalachian State.
Lamm joins an offensive line room that recently lost reserve swing tackle Fred Johnson and starting right guard Mekhi Becton. With Johnson gone, Lamm will likely step into that swing tackle role occupied by Johnson the past two seasons. Johnson was a key figure in the Eagles' season, holding down the left tackle position while Jordan Mailata was out with an injury. Right tackle Lane Johnson has also missed time over the past few seasons, so having a veteran lineman who can play both sides is a solid addition by Howie Roseman.
The big battle will be a right guard, where third-year pro Tyler Steen will battle former first-round pick Kenyon Green, who the team acquired from Houston in a trade that involved C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
