The Philadelphia Eagles have yet to add a player in free agency, but could be exploring a trade.

Filling the Void: Nakobe Dean Departs for Las Vegas

One free agent the team lost was linebacker Nakobe Dean, who signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, getting a new three-year, $36 million contract that includes $20 million in guaranteed money.

The Trade Rumor: Is Patrick Queen Heading to Philly?

So could the Eagles be looking to replace Dean with a trade?

Queen played in all 17 games last season for Pittsburgh, making 120 tackles, eight for loss, with one sack, four pass breakups, and a forced fumble. He is a two-time Pro Bowler and, in 2023, was named second-team All-Pro.

Internal Options: The Rise of Jihaad Campbell

It would be an interesting addition for the Eagles, who let Dean walk and have 2025 first-round pick Jihaad Campbell ready to step into Dean's role.  Campbell played well while Dean was out rehabbing his injury last season, making 80 tackles, two for loss, and breaking up two passes in his 10 starts.

Queen is entering the last year of his contract in 2026, which pays him about $13 million.
