It’s time for Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz to start their fourth season together.  This season comes with a ton of expectations, but could injuries play a factor in reaching those lofty goals?

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Redskins on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field after an offseason of adding some new pieces to their offense, giving them in the words of Pederson, a 'well oiled machine' on offense.

But the team has a ton of guys who didnt play this preseason nursing injuries, many of which are slated to play on Sunday for the first time since last season.

What about defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz defense, which was hit by the injury bug. Jim Schwartz's unit has multiple key plays slowed by injury, many that will be making their 2019 debuts on Sunday, after missing the entire preseason.

Fletcher Cox, Nigel Bradham, Ronald Darby are just a few of the key starters who are returning from injury, but slated to be ready to play. Defensive end Derek Barnett is among those with an unclear status as he continues to rehab from shoulder surgery.
